HVAC Dispatch Manager

Leading Heating and Air Conditioning company seeking a Full time HVAC Dispatch Manager at our Van Nuys location. We are looking for a highly-motivated top performer who exhibits leadership and is driven to succeed in a fast-paced environment.

Position Summary

The Dispatch Manager is responsible to lead 6+ employees and to oversee all dispatching/ telemarketing/ customer service. This position reports to the Operations Manager, and is responsible for coordinating the service operations with the Service Manager. .

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage the dispatch/ telemarketing/ customer service team.
  • Review service work orders daily to assure customer was properly charged, parts were ordered, paperwork completed and that the technician accomplished tasks in an efficient manner.
  • Provide customer service support as needed; respond to customer emails and address problems in a timely manner
  • Avoid foreseeable customer issues through planning ahead.
  • Actively participate in the staff recruiting and training.
  • Evaluate team's performance and determine appropriate courses of action to organize and manage and motivate the team.
  • Implement company policies and procedures.
  • Explore and implement creative solutions to current processes and systems.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of (4) four years of experience as a Dispatch manager.
  • At least (2) two years of previous experience in HVAC service or related industry.
  • Technical or business school degree or certificate.
  • Effective user of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and industry standard dispatch software applications

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

  • This is a full-time exempt position. Days of work are Monday through Friday. Some weekends required
